As another weekend passes, another week begins. Day 32 and I find myself strangely up beat about getting a job today - you'd think given that I have spent more than 4 weeks searching that I would be in turmoil but today doesn't seem to be the case. It could be that I have worked on my CV and cover letter over the weekend (as opposed to spending friday and saturday night drunk in the town). My CV is much more focussed to a sales/marketing direction and in my opinion, the best it has been.
I have spent this morning seeking vacancies that are advertised - and are suitable for me - but as ever, Mondays are notoriously slow in getting vacancies out; it is something I have noticed in my time in unemployment. So theres little I can do but continue to wait it out.
I have researched into becoming a CIM member, I figure it will offer organisations a little more reason to employ me as opposed to just having my degree; one catch though, it costs £150 to become registered...£150 that I dont have to spend freely until I get employment, what a vicious circle life is eh!?
£33 Orange bill, £42 sky bill!! (damn the month advance payment they take when you add a package) and a £58 tesco credit card have attacked me this month...ouch!

I am looking for a job too, sweetie. And I am MUCH older than you. I have a deal: you cheer me up and encourage me in my quest, and I will do the same for you. Also, I am a wizard with CVs. If you need any help... I can do it. My background is in marketing and PR too.
Welcome to blogland. I am sure you'll find lots of great friends here. xLux
