Day 60 - apologies (AGAIN) for my lack of blogging recently
One week into my temporary job with the local social housing organisation working in their marketing and PR department and I am loving it. Ok so it is not what I dreamed of - mainly as it is quite limited to a degree - but it is still intriguing and still allows for me to gain valuable skills and office based experience.
For the past week (and next one) we are working on the organisations website (like a second home to me) so I have been able to really throw myself into the work and show my knowledge and my willingness to work. Hopefully it will all go as a positive for me when it comes to references (and a possible job opportunity maybe?).
Regardless of that, I am still firmly looking for a London based role. I am hoping that I can fulfil the 8 weeks or so that this role offers me - having looked on Gumtree.com there is an organisation that I applied for 6 months ago and got rejected (for a different role), though the role they are advertising at the moment is one that i feel I could quite easily perform well. Do I apply with them again? How do I go about applying for a company that once said no already? Hmmmmm
